Alta, pop. 19.000, is one of the largest towns in the sparsely populated Arctic wilderness which is Norway’s northernmost county, Finnmark. This is Samí country, often called Norwegian Lappland.

Drive a team of eager Huskies. Make an excursion to «the Top of Europe» – 71 degrees North, the North Cape.
